Sentimental Journey

This simple little cabin was a special place for me as a child. It seemed so large as things often do when we are little. I visited a couple of months ago just to see it and take pictures to have of it. This is where I spent a lot of summer vacation with my grandfather. "Pop" was a special man. He was a huge lover of fishing and I did it with him. Going out in the boat and checking trout lines, sitting with a pole in the water, swimming, cleaning fish, walking to the little store to get candy, and going to sleep with fans and hearing the crickets lull me to sleep are my special memories. He called me "sugar" and i miss him very much! I am so blessed to have had him in my life and I truly cherish the time with him. We really have no idea how we may be influencing a childs life.
